The hotel had a decent breakfast and the staff were friendly. The location was also convenient as it was near a tram stop and offered free bicycles for exploring the area. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities.
The hotel felt very old and outdated. The room was musty and the bathroom was cramped. The public bath was a nice feature, but the hot water was not hot enough and the facilities were not well-maintained. Additionally, there was a strange odor in the air that made the stay quite unpleasant. the hotel was a bit disappointing.

Dinner and breakfast provided as well as a hot bath, massage chairs and common lounge area. Totally value for money. Very convenient to go to okaido too.
No room service in between days. Also the lights in the room are a little dim and not conducive to work.

The hotel offered convenient access to transportation with its proximity to a tram stop and nearby convenience stores. Despite being a budget option, the breakfast was surprisingly good, exceeding expectations. A highlight was the public bath, which was better than expected and a great value.
The hotel's cleanliness could be improved, as evidenced by pieces of cookie on the floor upon check-in.

Loved the Shiseido rinse-in shampoo provided in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast every morning was great and is particularly good for those travelling on a budget. A shared bath is also available, but I did not use it. The room size is quite large, in contrast to rooms in other business hotels around Japan.
A bit of a treck on the trams, which do not have much English signage. This can be a challenge if you do not read the language so well. Be careful that there is a Hotel Tahei and a Hotel Tahei Annex on the same road. The nearest tram stop is Teppocho or Shimizumachi

Enjoyable Easter Stay Spent a delightful Easter holiday at this hotel. the clean rooms and excellent buffet breakfast were standout features. the location was perfect for exploring nearby convenience stores and low-cost eateries. Plus, the shared bath was a welcome treat after a long day of sightseeing.
Limited Restaurant Options the lack of restaurant choices in the vicinity was a downside. Plus, the language barrier was challenging as the hotel mostly caters to Japanese guests.
